Aspen the Yorkie

My friend, Copper, has a new picture sent to me by his owner, Betty Lynch. Copper is a rescue dog, and is settling in to his new home nicely, according to Betty…who may be sitting next to him at her laptop?

You met Copper before, but this is a new picture, and a new reminder to us how important it is to consider adopting a pet. There are many sites to help you with this, start local, though, almost every town has an animal shelter, I know ours does. If your town doesn’t, check nearby towns. There are SOOO many pets that need homes, or just someone to visit them at the shelter and take them for a walk, maybe your shelter needs volunteers.

We have been updating Squidoo lenses over the past few days, including mine, and would really like you to visit!

You have heard of YouTube, but did you know that there is a GodTube? This is a place where people who love God like to put there videos. I’m sure they use YouTube, too, but anyway, my owner found this video of a dog skateboarding, and boy am I glad we don’t have a skateboard around here, or I’m sure she’d be dragging me outside to see if I could do this. Have fun watching.

I’m really happy to introduce you to another dog friend of mine named Jack. His owner mommy, Vicki Taylor, said he was an American Eskimo, maybe that’s why he has such a beautiful, white coat of hair. We were looking around on the web, and saw that some people call their American Eskimo an “Eskie”, just like a Yorkshire Terrier is called a “Yorkie”. My owner keeps saying she’s never seen a dog like this, they are so pretty and white.

Jack is a BIG dog compared to little me, and he is the one that introduced me to Dogster. If you click right here, you can visit his site. I haven’t joined dogster yet, but will let you know when I do.

This is my friend, Pixel. Pixel visits here a lot, and leaves funny and nice comments on my posts.

Pixel is a Yorkie-Poo, I hope I spelled that right and won’t tell you what I thought it meant at first (LOL), because Pixel’s human, the famous “Pop Art Diva” said she is called that because she is partly poodle. But only about 10% so that’s why she’s almost totally a Yorkie just like me!!

I’ll tell you why her picture looks like it does in a minute…but first, this cute little Yorkie lives in Arizona, and loves to travel to art shows with her owner. I’ve also heard she LOVES her cookies!

Now for the picture, if you are owned by a talented artist, I guess this is what happens to your picture, your hair gets a “Photoshop Grooming”. I bet that if you have a dog picture that needs a Photoshop Grooming, the Pop Art Diva can do it for you, but I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask her. She has a really colorful website right here, and you can find her colorful blogs from there.

Did you know there was a club just for us? It’s called “The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America“, and I’m looking forward to spending some time visiting there.
