Hi Ron,

I know, it seems a little cruel if you're not a dog, but my owners do things like that to me, and if I'm really afraid, I run away and hide. What you don't understand is that us dogs love how humans react when we do silly things like this dog is doing, they laugh at us, and we are getting attention that we love. I promise you that a big dog like that, if it felt threatened or afraid, would show it a LOT differently...tail between legs, showing teeth and snarling, biting, etc.

When my owners bring ANYTHING into the house that looks different, I act exactly like this, only I'm a lot smaller, and my tail is wagging the whole time because everyone is laughing at me and I love that! Dogs love entertaining their humans.

So don't worry, there are real cruel things that people do, but this isn't one of them.
